Think Twice about Health Literacy: Writing and Editing for a Patient Audience

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Were you ever told that you suffered from acute coryza? Not us! Did you ever try to read a brochure about sildenafil citrate? Neither have we!

In this session, you'll find out what those mysterious terms mean -- and learn how to incorporate plain language into writing for a patient audience. These principles and strategies can also help to increase awareness when writing for the general public. Key topics include health literacy and specific tools and practical tips for writing and editing patient communications.
