David Brindley (@wordies) is on the ACES executive board and is managing editor for National Geographic magazine. In 2005, he created, staffed and served as director of the magazine's first copy desk. Prior to arriving at the magazine in 2002, he was a photojournalist, researcher, reporter and editor. David graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and has a master's degree from the London School of Economics.
